This project was originally named Grande Palisades and construction was completed in 2008.  All the units were pre-sold for approximately $395,000 per unit, however, with the financial downturn, the building reverted back to the lender and it was never occupied.

Since then, the bank has spent millions of dollars to maintain the asset in impeccable condition. After buying the construction loan in 2014, a renowned developer called BTI Partners received clean title in 2015 and have been working to re position the asset as Orlando’s premier resort style condo hotel. The developers are spending approximately $75M on the project.  They are updating the interiors of the apartments with new flooring, new stainless steel appliances, furnishings and fixtures.

The developers is also upgrading the existing pool deck in the back by the lake, and building an entirely new water park. In addition, they are building out the lobby, day care, restaurants, arcade, spa, fitness, and more.  BTI Partners has begun the re modelling of the first 300 units in the first quarter of 2016 and anticipates finishing Phase I renovations by the 1st quarter of 2017.

Phase two and three are expected to be completed in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
